- Oct 14, 2026. Aptos turned on its Encrypted Mempool on mainnet, with Petra the first wallet to offer it. Users can opt in to keep pending transactions encrypted until their block is final, adding about 20 ms per block in tests.
- Oct 14, 2026. Aptos's official MCP server and agent skills let AI coding tools including Claude Code, Cursor and GitHub Copilot build on the network. The skills write, test and security-audit Move smart contracts before deployment.
- Oct 13, 2026. Aptos's MonoMove engine ran collateral withdrawals up to 55x faster than the current Move VM in internal tests on Decibel trading transactions. Vault requests ran up to 40x faster, and mainnet rollout is planned for 2027.
