Thermal Energy has secured three heat recovery orders totalling $2.1 million CAD, including its first deployment in Indonesia, according to an announcement dated August 24, 2026.
Two of the orders are turnkey projects in the United States. The third is a Major Equipment Package bound for an Indonesia site, marking the company's entry into that market. Heat recovery systems capture waste thermal energy from industrial processes and redirect it for reuse, reducing both fuel consumption and emissions in manufacturing facilities.
Thermal Energy operates in industrial decarbonization. The three orders span different deployment models: complete installed systems and equipment-only arrangements both fit within the company's service range. Customers can choose full-service installation or component supply depending on their infrastructure and expertise.
The Indonesia order represents geographic expansion for a company that has previously concentrated on North American markets. Southeast Asia has become a target region for industrial efficiency vendors as major manufacturing hubs in the region face mounting pressure to lower carbon intensity under both domestic regulations and international supply-chain requirements.
Thermal Energy did not disclose the individual value of each order or expected revenue recognition timelines in the announcement.
