StarkWare has released a privacy SDK and Wallet API on Starknet, allowing developers to integrate private transfers and anonymous swaps without building separate cryptography or launching new networks. The announcement says teams can add privacy features directly to existing Starknet applications using shielded ERC-20 balances, private transfers, and atomic private execution.
The infrastructure allows applications to keep liquidity consolidated on Starknet while offering privacy as an optional layer. Developers can integrate through the Wallet API, which connects to users' existing wallets and signing keys, or use the TypeScript SDK for more granular control over transaction construction and note management.
StarkWare said the Wallet API removes friction by not requiring users to migrate to a separate wallet or learn new signing flows. Applications built on Starknet can add privacy features without fragmentation, and advanced teams can access lower-level primitives for custom implementations.

The company also flagged cross-chain capability, stating that applications from other ecosystems can use Starknet as a privacy execution layer. StarkWare cited OffMarket as an example of a cross-chain integration.
Starknet has positioned privacy as core infrastructure over the past year. In October, the network launched strkBTC, a private Bitcoin standard on Starknet, and released version 0.14.2 with privacy features as a core component rather than an add-on.
