Real-world asset value on Avalanche has grown to $1.93 billion over the past year, nearly an eightfold increase from $242 million in August 2025, with Securitize commanding more than half the total.
Securitize, a platform for issuing and managing digital securities, holds more than half the total RWA value on Avalanche. The concentration shows how one platform has come to dominate tokenized securities and other RWA issuance on one of crypto's larger layer-one chains. Securitize has built its position through multiple offerings across fixed income, equity tokens, and derivatives since entering the Avalanche ecosystem.
Avalanche's RWA growth outpaces the broader market trajectory. The global on-chain RWA market reached roughly $10 billion in mid-2024 and has since grown into the tens of billions across all chains, according to on-chain tracking data. Ethereum remains the largest RWA hub by absolute value, but smaller chains including Avalanche and Polygon have accelerated adoption through dedicated developer incentives and lower transaction costs.
Securitize has issued more than $2 billion in tokenized securities across all blockchains since its 2018 founding. The company serves a range of issuers from traditional finance firms tokenizing bonds and funds to crypto-native platforms issuing yield-bearing tokens. On Avalanche specifically, Securitize's share of RWA value exceeds that of all other platforms combined, according to holdings data.

Avalanche's Foundation has backed RWA initiatives as part of a broader strategy to attract institutional adoption. The chain has offered grants and technical support to platforms building tokenized fixed income products, competitive with incentives offered by Ethereum and Solana to their own RWA ecosystems.
Securitize did not respond to a request for comment on the scale of its Avalanche presence or near-term issuance pipeline. The platform has not announced exclusive partnerships with Avalanche Foundation that would structurally limit its expansion to other chains, where it continues to issue securities across multiple networks.
Securitize's dominance on Avalanche represents roughly 26 percent of all on-chain RWA value across the industry, based on the $1.93 billion Avalanche total and reported global RWA figures. The number that decides whether Securitize's competitive position on Avalanche is shifting is whether its share of Avalanche RWA contracts below 50 percent within the next 12 months.
