Polymarket has secured exclusive prediction market streaming rights for all ATP Tour and ATP Challenger Tour matches available to U.S. users, according to an announcement released August 3. The partnership grants Polymarket the ability to offer live-streaming and in-app trading during professional tennis matches, covering approximately 20,000 matches per season.

The deal grants the first prediction market platform exclusive streaming rights from a major professional sports tour. Polymarket users in the U.S. will be able to watch matches directly within the app while placing trades on event outcomes in real time. The arrangement applies to both the main ATP Tour circuit and the lower-tier ATP Challenger Tour.

Polymarket operates as a decentralized prediction market where users trade on the outcomes of future events. The platform has grown to become one of the largest prediction markets by volume, with traders wagering on elections, sports outcomes, and other events. Prior integrations have included partnerships with media and data providers, but none have bundled live broadcast rights with in-app trading.

The ATP Tour sanctions approximately 64 events annually across its main tour and several hundred on the Challenger circuit. The 20,000-match figure accounts for both the main tour schedule and qualifying rounds. Polymarket will be able to display live video feeds and market data side by side, allowing traders to react to match developments as they unfold.

U.S. regulatory treatment of prediction markets remains fragmented. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission has jurisdiction over event derivatives, though prediction markets have operated under a patchwork of state and federal exemptions. Polymarket has faced scrutiny from regulators over whether its platform operates as an unlicensed exchange, though the company has continued expanding its product offerings.

Major sportsbooks and betting platforms have long offered in-play wagering on tennis and other sports. Combining broadcast rights with decentralized market mechanics through a single platform is novel in sports infrastructure. The deal does not include exclusive rights for all tennis betting or prediction markets, only Polymarket's specific platform.

Polymarket's exclusive streaming grant depends on whether the ATP Tour begins enforcing the arrangement immediately across all its digital channels. If the partnership does not restrict other prediction market platforms from offering ATP markets by early 2027, the exclusivity claim will have functionally dissolved.
