CrowdStrike and Optiv announced combined lifetime contract value exceeding $2 billion through standardization of the Falcon platform, according to a statement made today at the company's annual conference.

The figure measures cumulative total contract value, or TCV, across both vendors' customer relationships. Neither company disclosed individual breakdowns or the timeline over which these contracts were signed. Enterprises continue consolidating cybersecurity tooling around unified endpoint detection and response platforms.

CrowdStrike's Falcon platform provides cloud-native endpoint protection, threat intelligence, and incident response capabilities. Optiv, an enterprise cybersecurity solutions provider and systems integrator, packages and deploys these tools for mid-market and large organizations. The partnership pairs a technology vendor with a systems integrator to reach customers who require both platform selection and implementation services.

Total contract value differs from annual recurring revenue. TCV measures the full dollar amount of a customer agreement over its entire term, often three to five years. A $2 billion combined TCV figure can span deals signed across multiple fiscal years and customer cohorts of varying sizes.

The Falcon platform has been central to CrowdStrike's growth strategy since the company's 2019 initial public offering. The vendor has expanded the platform's module count from endpoint protection into cloud workload security, identity threat detection, and managed threat hunting. Optiv has positioned itself as a systems integrator for the cloud-native security stack, competing against firms like Mandiant, Accenture Security, and managed service providers that bundle detection platforms with implementation and ongoing monitoring.

Neither CrowdStrike nor Optiv disclosed whether the $2 billion figure represents new customer acquisitions in a recent period or cumulative bookings across the entire partnership. The announcement does not specify contract terms, average deal size, or retention rates.
