Coinbase has activated full trading for the PONS-USD pair on both Coinbase Exchange and Coinbase Advanced, with limit, market and stop orders now live across both platforms.

The token entered restricted trading on Coinbase on October 7, 2026. Full trading mode means all three standard order types are now available, removing previous constraints on how users could buy and sell the asset. Coinbase had previously listed PONS in a restricted phase, a common staging period before an exchange grants unrestricted access to new tokens.

Coinbase Exchange and Coinbase Advanced serve different user bases. Exchange is the company's retail-facing platform, while Advanced targets more sophisticated traders and institutions. Activating PONS across both surfaces the token to Coinbase's full user base at once.

The announcement came from Coinbase Markets, the company's official trading account, which posted the update on October 7. Coinbase did not disclose the token's issuer, supply, or market capitalization in the announcement. The token's performance and adoption since the listing remain unreported.
