Trump Media moved 2,628 bitcoin to Crypto.com on August 2, worth roughly $165 million at the time of transfer, according to on-chain tracking data.

The transfer marks the second major bitcoin movement by the company in less than three months. In May, Trump Media sent 2,650 BTC, valued near $205 million then, to the same exchange. The company has not disclosed the purpose of either transfer or any plan for the holdings.

Trump Media, the parent company of the Truth Social platform, began accumulating bitcoin in the first half of 2026 as part of a corporate treasury strategy. The two transfers total 5,278 BTC, equivalent to roughly $370 million combined at their respective transfer valuations. On-chain data shows the bitcoin moved from Trump Media's known addresses to deposit wallets at Crypto.com, a major spot trading and custody venue.

Crypto.com has emerged as a custodian and exchange for corporate bitcoin holdings. The platform operates as both a trading venue and an institutional-grade custody service. Trump Media moved the bitcoin to deposit wallets rather than long-term custody wallets at the exchange.

Neither Trump Media nor Crypto.com issued a public statement on the transfer. The timing follows months of volatility in bitcoin markets and a broader shift in corporate treasury allocations across the tech and media sectors.

Two large transfers in fourteen weeks to the same exchange totals 5,278 BTC moved by a single company in a concentrated timeframe. If Trump Media completes a third transfer of similar size before year-end, the company would rank among the most active corporate movers of bitcoin in 2026.
