TAC completed a contract migration on BNB Chain on September 2, taking a snapshot at block 119,573,620 to exclude 1.662 billion tokens tied to an August 22 exploit still held by the attacker.

The new BEP-20 contract replaces the original token after an August exploit drained roughly 28 percent of TAC's supply from a staking pool. The attacker retained control of the stolen amount. By snapshotting before announcing the migration, TAC prevented the attacker from moving or selling the compromised tokens to interfere with the distribution to legitimate holders.

According to TAC's announcement on X, holders who owned $TAC in their own wallets or in liquidity positions at the snapshot block will receive the new token automatically. The attacker-linked addresses are excluded from the distribution. Binance Alpha will enable trading of the new token and facilitate a token swap on Friday, September 4 at 08:00 UTC.

TAC said it will publish a proposed airdrop list shortly and allow three business days for disputes. A new PancakeSwap pool and cross-chain bridging to BNB Chain are expected to return by Friday. The project explicitly warned holders not to buy or trade the old token and said there is no claim site, warning against connecting wallets to any third-party site.

The snapshot was taken at block 119,573,620 on September 2 at 17:16 UTC, before the public announcement. TAC confirmed the new contract address is 0xb305E6954e4e0Cd021c06Ec355681abc8A00dbD7 and flagged other addresses as fake.

The August 22 exploit forced TAC to halt its network and prompted the foundation to pledge 1.26 billion tokens toward a recovery plan. The contract migration is the execution of that commitment. Legitimate holders will recover their positions at 1:1 parity with the new token, while the attacker's portion becomes permanently inaccessible.
