SunScout Holding Limited priced a $15.5 million initial public offering on NYSE American and NYSE Texas under ticker SNSC, according to the company's announcement. The company began trading today.

The offering includes an over-allotment option of 465,000 shares, worth approximately $2.3 million at the IPO price, exercisable within 30 days. That structure allows the underwriter to expand the total potential raise to roughly $17.8 million if the option is fully drawn.

SunScout's dual-exchange listing on both NYSE American and NYSE Texas appears among companies choosing alternative paths to public markets. NYSE Texas, launched in late 2024 as a competing venue to Nasdaq and NYSE, has attracted issuers in recent months. NYSE American serves micro and small-cap companies, a segment where listing fees and compliance costs differ materially from flagship exchange tiers.

The $15.5 million pricing sits at the smaller end of the IPO scale. In 2025, the median IPO size across U.S. exchanges was $87 million, meaning SunScout's offering is less than one-fifth that figure. Small IPOs have remained sparse; fewer than 60 companies raised under $50 million on U.S. exchanges in 2025, a decline from prior years as issuers faced higher cost-of-capital and retail demand shifts.

The company's choice of two exchanges simultaneously is unusual. Most issuers list on a single primary venue; dual listings typically occur post-IPO when a company lists on a second exchange for liquidity or geographic reasons. SunScout priced on both markets at once.

IPO volume this year remains well below historical averages. Through August, 71 companies had gone public in the U.S., raising $21.3 billion combined, versus 156 IPOs and $67.7 billion in the same period of 2021. That is 46 percent of the 2021 deal count and 31 percent of the capital raised.

The scale of SunScout's raise and its dual-exchange listing place the company among smaller public offerings. Whether the over-allotment option is exercised will become clear within 30 days of the pricing date.
