Spot XRP exchange-traded funds recorded $23.87 million in net inflows on August 25, marking their strongest day since May 11, according to inflow data tracked by market observers.
The May 11 inflow figure was $25.8 million. The August 25 result ranks as the second-largest single day for the products since their launch. Cumulative holdings in spot XRP ETFs have now reached more than 1.6% of the asset's circulating supply.
Spot XRP ETFs launched in the United States in June 2024 after the SEC approved the products following years of litigation between the agency and Ripple Labs. The approval opened the first regulated vehicles for U.S. investors to hold XRP through traditional brokerage accounts. Prior to that, access to the asset for institutions and retail holders had been limited to direct purchases on exchanges or through custody arrangements.

The August 25 inflow arrived as XRP traded near $2.50, up roughly 4% over the preceding week. The two largest U.S. spot XRP ETFs are Ripple Labs' own XRP Trust and the Bitwise XRP ETF, both of which compete for flows alongside options from Grayscale and other issuers.
ETF inflows can move with both new capital entering XRP and rebalancing within existing crypto portfolios. Large single-day flows often track with price moves or announcement cycles, though the August 25 figure did not immediately follow a major news event from Ripple or a regulatory filing. The product category has attracted steady institutional adoption since launch, with total assets under management across spot XRP ETFs surpassing $1 billion in earlier periods.
The second-best day since May 11 occurred on August 25. Daily inflows over the next 30 trading days will show whether this day was an isolated spike or the start of a sustained pattern.
