Psalion, a Singapore-based venture manager, launched a $50 million fund targeting pre-seed and seed-stage blockchain companies, the firm's largest vehicle to date.
The fund will back startups across infrastructure, real-world assets, stablecoins, decentralized finance and trade finance. According to the announcement, this is Psalion's third fund since its launch.
Psalion has deployed capital into the blockchain ecosystem through two prior vehicles. The firm targets founders at the seed level, where capital requirements are lower and deal velocity is higher than in later rounds.
The $50 million size places Psalion's new fund in the mid-range of emerging Asia-focused crypto venture managers. Singaporean and other Southeast Asian venture groups have increased commitments to blockchain infrastructure over the past two years as regulatory clarity improved across the region and Layer 2 scaling solutions attracted developer talent away from saturated markets.
Psalion's sector focus spans the major product categories competing for venture backing in 2026. Real-world asset tokenization and stablecoins have become focal points for traditional finance entries into blockchain, while DeFi and trade finance platforms continue to attract early-stage investment despite past collapses in the category. Infrastructure funding remains core to how crypto venture capital allocates dry powder, as builders depend on foundational tooling before application layers can scale.
Seed and pre-seed rounds in blockchain totaled approximately $1.2 billion across Asia in 2025 according to venture data, meaning Psalion's $50 million represents roughly 4 percent of the region's estimated annual deployment at that stage.
The number that decides whether Psalion executes on its thesis is how many of its portfolio companies ship functional products within two years, a metric that will determine the fund's internal rate of return and its ability to raise a fourth vehicle at scale.
