MicroCloud Hologram acquired 140,268 Strategy shares valued at $15.76 million through a structured note product settlement, according to an announcement posted August 21.

The transaction was executed passively as part of a structured note maturity rather than as a direct market purchase. Structured notes are debt securities whose returns are tied to an underlying asset or index; when they mature, settlement can involve equity transfers. The acquisition adds to MicroCloud's existing holdings in the software company.

Strategy, formerly known as MicroStrategy, operates as a business intelligence and analytics platform provider with a market capitalization near $50 billion. The company has accumulated roughly 27,000 bitcoins valued above $1 billion as of mid-2026. Strategy's stock price has moved materially in concert with cryptocurrency markets throughout 2024 and 2025.

MicroCloud Hologram itself is a technology holding company focused on quantum computing and digital holography applications. The settlement of a matured structured note resulted in the transfer of Strategy shares to MicroCloud rather than an active portfolio shift.

The 140,268 shares represent roughly 0.008 percent of Strategy's current float of approximately 1.7 billion shares outstanding. At the $112-per-share valuation embedded in the settlement, the transaction valued the position at exactly $15.76 million.

Structured note settlements typically execute automatically when the instrument reaches maturity, following a predetermined schedule rather than market timing. MicroCloud did not announce separate rationale or investment thesis for holding the shares post-settlement.

MicroCloud's Strategy holding is now in place ahead of the software company's continued operations as a major institutional holder of digital assets and ongoing participant in enterprise software markets.
