HertzFlow launched a mainnet trading layer on BNB Chain on August 17, enabling traders to access multiplied exposure across crypto, FX, commodities and equities markets, according to an announcement from YZi Labs.
The platform went live with Genesis Vaults collateralized in $USD1 and $U stablecoins. HertzFlow was incubated through YZi Labs' EASY Residency program and graduated to mainnet launch after completing its second season in the accelerator. Users deposit stablecoins and can multiply their exposure to underlying assets across five distinct asset classes on a single platform.

Trading infrastructure on blockchain networks has become a focal point as institutional and retail traders seek to replicate traditional finance's capital efficiency onchain. Platforms like dYdX, Aave and Compound built lending and liquidation mechanics that allowed users to borrow and trade with collateral multiples. HertzFlow's cross-asset design addresses a gap: most existing onchain trading products concentrate on crypto pairs, while forex, commodities and stock synthetics require separate infrastructure to achieve unified margin and settlement.

BNB Chain hosts billions in total value locked across lending, trading and derivative protocols. The network processes high transaction volume and charges lower fees than Ethereum L1, making it a platform of choice for derivatives builders. By launching on BNB Chain, HertzFlow gains access to that liquidity and user base while competing with similar offerings already live on the network.
The Genesis Vault structure uses stablecoins as collateral to mint multiplied positions. The economics depend on the spread between borrow rates and trading returns, as well as liquidation mechanics that protect the protocol if collateral value falls below thresholds.
YZi Labs incubates early-stage onchain protocols and has backed projects across DeFi, infrastructure and applications. The EASY Residency program pairs founders with mentors and capital to accelerate from testnet to launch. HertzFlow's graduation to mainnet marks the second cohort of residency projects moving to live trading.
HertzFlow's launch expands the trading surface on BNB Chain to five distinct asset classes where previously only crypto margin existed natively onchain. If the Genesis Vaults attract sustained capital, the platform would function as a unified gateway across markets that have historically required separate exchanges. No public total value locked figure has been disclosed; the metric to track is whether HertzFlow publishes vault balances and liquidation data within 30 days of launch.
