Tether's Hadron platform is now live on Sui mainnet, giving institutions rails to issue tokenized equities, bonds, and commodities on compliant infrastructure, according to an announcement from Sui Network.
Hadron, which Tether launched in November 2024, handles the regulatory and custody layers for institutional asset tokenization. The move to Sui marks the first time Hadron has deployed to a blockchain other than Ethereum. Sui's infrastructure handles settlement and custody verification natively, meaning the tokenized assets operate within a compliance-by-design framework rather than relying on external wrappers.
Institutions can now issue and manage tokenized versions of equities, bonds, commodities and other traditional assets directly on Sui. Hadron handles the issuer onboarding, asset registration, and custody verification. Tether manages the fiat on-ramp and off-ramp, along with custody of the underlying collateral.
Sui is also hardening its signature schemes. The network is adding two NIST-approved quantum-resistant signature algorithms, one for everyday accounts and one for high-value Move vaults. Existing accounts will rotate to a quantum-safe key derived from their recovery phrase without changing their address or moving their funds.

Separately, Sui's derivatives protocol Aftermath Finance is bringing perpetual futures trading back after a 12-week rebuild. Security firm Osec has already completed an end-to-end review of the new engine; a second audit is underway. Both reports will be made public once complete.
Hashi, Sui's testnet for cross-chain bridging, has processed 1.1 million deposits and 165,000 withdrawals in its first three weeks. More than half of all Bitcoin Signet transactions over the past two weeks came from Hashi activity, according to the Sui Network announcement.
Hadron's compliance framework now operates on Sui alongside quantum-resistant signatures that reduce long-term custody risk for large holders. If material issuance volume moves from Ethereum-based competitors to Hadron on Sui, the monthly transaction count on Sui will be the clearest measure.
