Chainlink has established itself as the oracle and cross-chain infrastructure layer for three major platforms launching tokenized equities to retail and institutional users. Coinbase, Robinhood, and Ondo Finance are all using Chainlink's CCIP and Data Streams services to power their respective tokenized stock offerings.

Coinbase selected Chainlink in August 2026 to bring tokenized stocks to its decentralized finance users. Robinhood's blockchain launched in July 2026 with Chainlink integration built into its core infrastructure. Ondo Finance has been using Chainlink's oracle services for tokenized equity products since April 2025. All three platforms rely on Chainlink to deliver real-time price feeds and enable cross-chain settlement of equity tokens.

Tokenized equities represent fractional ownership of traditional stocks issued and traded on blockchain networks. Institutional investors and fintech platforms are building these products to offer 24/7 trading, programmable settlement, and composability with decentralized finance protocols. Chainlink's CCIP, a cross-chain messaging protocol, allows equity tokens to move between blockchains while maintaining price accuracy through the oracle network. Data Streams delivers market data directly to smart contracts with sub-second latency.

Coinbase's tokenized equities product integrates Chainlink oracles to ensure that on-chain equity prices match real-time market data. The Robinhood Chain adoption means users of that network can trade tokenized stocks with access to Chainlink's institutional-grade price feeds. Ondo's longer tenure with Chainlink began in April 2025 with tokenized Treasury products before expanding to equities.

The three partnerships center on a single technical dependency: Chainlink's ability to deliver trustworthy, low-latency price data at scale. No competitor currently provides equivalent cross-chain oracle coverage to all three platforms. Coinbase and Robinhood each operate their own blockchains or blockchain infrastructure; both chose Chainlink rather than build proprietary oracle systems.

Tokenized equity adoption remains nascent. Regulatory clarity on the asset class is incomplete in most jurisdictions, and trading volumes remain small relative to traditional equity markets. These three partnerships represent the first major push by consumer-facing platforms to move beyond tokenized fixed-income products into equities.
