If accurate, the concentration would exceed the combined total of every other blockchain network.
AI agents have emerged as a use case driving onchain activity in 2024 and early 2025. The shift from 337 agents across all networks in January to 330,000 by mid-July represents a 980-fold increase in nine months. BNB Chain's own tally has grown proportionally, meaning the network captured the majority of new agent deployments as the category scaled.
The growth sits atop BNB Chain's existing base of transaction volume, staking, and decentralized finance activity. BNB, the network's native token, trades around $610 as of late July, up from $310 in January. Daily transaction volume on BNB Chain reached 8 million transactions in recent weeks, according to network data.
